Exercise

Again, I am not a doctor. Some people with adhesions say they are unable to do any form of physical exercise. Work with your doctor on what you should and can do:

Walking

This is the easiest and possibly most effective treatment for my adhesions. For some reason, walking around hunched over helps a lot. The easiest way to do this and not look crazy is to get a shopping cart and pretend I’m in a hurry while at the store. . .

Stretches

Clear Passage sent me home with a bunch of exercises to help. Basically, they are similar to the ones I found here:

Yoga

I really try to like yoga. Not only are the stretches great, but the breathing along with it really helps. I even spent the time and money to become a certified yoga instructor. I still don’t like it very much, but I do find it helpful when I force myself.

This yoga one incorporates using a tennis ball for myofacial release. Around the 40 minute mark is where she works on the stomach area.
